How to Add Extra Power to Your Manifesting Rituals


We have talked a lot about the importance of focus on what you want to attract. This is sometimes easy to forget, as we’re constantly getting distracted, bombarded with information and daily obligations. We’re a busy species, and that’s just the way it is. Luckily, we can offer you a simple solution 🙂

Define Your Rituals and Stick to Them

Sticking to rituals is one great way to overcome this. By rituals, we mean to make your manifesting efforts a part of your daily routine, just like you’re drinking coffee or reading newspaper in the morning, or brushing your teeth before bed time. You can do the same with manifesting: set some time to meditate, visualize, or say your positive affirmations every day – it’s your time, time that you’re using to improve the quality of your life, so you should jealously keep that time and make the most out of it.

Set aside 20-30 minutes every day to contemplate your dreams, to listen to your inner self, and to work on manifesting your dream life.

Now, to some people this is enough to keep them motivated and focused, but others tend to isolate their “manifesting time” from the rest of their life, which can often be counterproductive.

How to Stay Motivated All Day Long

You see, focusing all of our thoughts and efforts to our goal pushes us to pursue it with all of our conscious and unconscious efforts, it keeps us motivated and open to the opportunities, even if they present themselves as inspirational thoughts. The principle of focus is an important principle – when all of your thoughts are focused on what you want to manifest, then everything else somehow comes by itself: your emotions are positive and directed to what you want, your actions are spontaneous and easy, and manifesting is a lot quicker and it comes more naturally.

Of course, you no one expects you to just spend your entire day thinking about this one thing – if you’re working on manifesting a new job, your current boss probably won’t like if you browse through the open positions in other companies’ websites, and you’re expected to do other things as well: to take your kids to school, to make lunch, to drive your mother-in-law to the airport…

But these are the little things that distract you, and you can easily spend the entire day without even once thinking about the goal that you should be pursuing.

So you need a reminder, and that’s all there is to it!

Positive affirmations can serve as a great way to remind you of the commitment you made to yourself: to attract something that you desire to your life.

The simplest way to use them is to write them out on sticky notes and leave them around the house, so that every time you see them, you think of your goal. You can add some emoticons near them, to remind you about the emotion as well, so as you go with your day you constantly emit positive thoughts and emotions.

In short, the affirmations on sticky notes will:

  • be reminding you of your goal as you’re doing other things
  • keep you in a positive mood if you start falling into the trap of being unsatisfied because the change isn’t there already (or just being nervous about something else)
  • energize you, as you can easily “anchor” the emotion related to them (see more about anchoring in our article about visualization techniques)
